Isabella Millie - Family History Notes
In 1907 she had just finished school and had her university entrance, when her brother Charles came home from Canada on a visit. Charles was her idol and she agreed to his suggestion of going back to Canada with him. They travelled back to Canada in company with his friend Douglas Harwdick.
By 1913 she was homesick and tired out and she returned to Scotland with Charles eldest Daughter Leslie. Douglas follwed her back to Scotland and they were married, returning to Canada on the last sailing before the outbreak of WW1.
She was 6ft tall and in her younge days was known as the Belle of the North.
