After all the children had been born, the family after this moved frequently throughout the south of England
as Frederick's job as a farm bailiff required. They lived in Sussex,
Berkshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire at various farms and mills.
While they were living at Ringwood in Hampshire in the 1930s Eliza died.
Her husband later moved to live at "The Manse" at Draycott in Somerset
where he was a lay Methodist preacher. On 16 February 1949 he died at
Porthchester in Hampshire at his daughter May's home.
